Central Texas author Joann C. Odenwelder will sign her book THIRTEEN BUTTONHOLES from 4 to 8 pm. THIRTEEN BUTTONHOLES is about Annie, a young woman working in a Pennsylvania Navy uniform factory. She leaves her work to be a farmer's wife. Following the war, she has the life she always wanted. When her husband moves the family to booming Texas of the 1950s, Annie faces the challenges of life in the South. Events unfold that nearly destroy all she holds dear. THIRTEEN BUTTONHOLES reveals the best and the worst in ordinary people who lived the boom of post-World War II. The Tavern, 922 West Twelfth St. 4 PM
