New Digs

In May 2007, The University of Texas at Austin Performing Arts Center closed its flagship venue, Bass Concert Hall, for an 18-month, $14.7 million renovation. Please join us for a personal tour of the newly renovated Bass Concert Hall. We have planned two times when the public can see the great improvements made to the exterior, the hall and the greatly expanded lobbies. No need to RSVP. Just show up at the front entrance of the Performing Arts Center's Bass Concert Hall at one of these two times: Sunday, Jan. 25 at 2 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 6 p.m. Tours last about 30 minutes. The front doors of Bass Concert Hall will be open about 30 minutes prior to each tour, and tours will start promptly at the appointed times. Paid parking is available in the San Jacinto or Manor garages. Free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis on weekends and after 5:45 p.m. on most campus streets. Time: 2-2:30 p.m. Location: Bass Concert Hall at corner of 23rd Street and Robert Dedman Drive Admission: Free and open to the public
