Move It

You are invited to a participatory talk titled "The Brickley Engine: Engineering Challenges Rooted in Physics or Politics?" presented by local inventor Mike Brickley. Brickley was recently featured in the New York Times ("Year in Ideas 2008") and has two U.S. patents for his invention, the Brickley Engine. Brickley's interest in all types of engines goes back 35 years to his high school days when he designed and built a steam-powered bicycle. Join the Austin Forum for this engaging, educational talk to learn how Brickley intends to make a positive impact on the environment while helping consumers save money in fuel costs. Complimentary food and drink will be provided at 6 p.m. The forum invites distinguished professionals and leaders to speak on topics related to science and technology and discuss how they affect society.
Time: 6:30-8 p.m. Location: J.J. Pickle Research Campus, ROC Building 196, Seminar Room 1.603 Admission: Free and open to the public
