Design Lecture Series presents Craig Eliason
Description: The Design Lecture Series presents Craig Eliason, associate professor in the Art History Department at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn., for a talk titled "Classifying Printing Types: Maximillien Vox and the Power of Suggestion." Eliason was born and raised in Texas and graduated from Amherst College in Massachusetts. He earned a Ph.D. in art history from Rutgers University in 2002. Soon thereafter, his research agenda shifted to modern typography and type design.
