Yea Dogs

Canine Companions for Independence, a nonprofit organization that provides assistance dogs completely free of charge, will hold a free community event called CANINE COMPANIONS SALUTES INDEPENDENCE on Saturday, September 4, 2010. The event will highlight Canine Companions' Wounded Veterans Initiative, a targeted campaign to increase placements of assistance dogs with disabled veterans who have served in Iraq and/or Afghanistan. Fun for the entire family, CANINE COMPANIONS SALUTES INDEPENDENCE will feature live entertainment, all-American refreshments, opportunities to meet assistance dogs and puppies in program, training demonstrations, games and prizes and more.
